What should this slide contain? | How do I get the Information? |
Title |
Once again, the title for this is up to you but it should have something to do with Differences or Results. |
A slide showing the differences between what was expected and what we actually found. |
Look at your What Did We Expect slide and see what the percentage is supposed to be for each color. Then look at your What Did We Find slide and see what percentage we actually got for each color. The difference between the two, What Did We Expect - What Did We Find, is what goes on this slide for each color. For example, if the M&M site says that we should have 13% Red M&Ms and we have 10% Red M&Ms then the difference is a -3%. How you present this is up to you but it needs to be different than what you did for the What We Expected Slide. Here are some ideas of how you could present this information:
|
You think you want to use a Comparison Column Chart but you don't know what it is or how to do it? A Comparison Column Chart is a Column Chart (vertical bar graph) that compares 2 different sets of data. Think of the second column chart we created in Candy Graphing - that was a Comparison Column Chart that compared our M&Ms to the Class Average M&Ms. Refer back to the instructions for the What Did We Expect Slide for help on adding a chart to your Powerpoint presentation. The default chart format that comes up in Powerpoint is a Comparison Column Chart already - you just need to delete the 3rd row, change the column headings to your colors, put the percentages we expected in the first row and the percentages we got in the second row and change colors. |
Is your Differences Slide content complete? Then, Save Your Presentation and continue with the Recommendations Slide.
