Animate the pie chart on your What We Found slide.

Click on the Animating a Chart video from the list.

You can pause this at each step and try that step and then start the tutorial again. 

Try out some different animations and see which you like best. Remember the information still needs to be readable so don't loop something forever or make it go too fast.

NOTE: Not all animations will work on individual pieces of a chart - for example the Fly In animation doesn't work. If you don't see the Chart Animation tab, try another animation. You can always animate the chart as an entire chart if you wish.

Watched the video and still confused?

Okay try this step-by-step (finish each step before you start the next one) and see if it makes more sense:

1. Open your What We Found slide.
2. Click on your chart to select it.
3. Go to Slide Show > Custom Animation
4. In the Custom Animation task pane, click on Add Effect and then on Entrance.
5. Choose an animation effect - click on More Effects to see all of the animation options available. 
6. If you want each piece of the pie to come in separately, click on the down arrow associated with your chart animation and choose Effect Options.
7. If the animation you have chosen will work on the individual pieces of the chart, you will see a Chart Tab. Click on this and change the Group Chart option to By Category.
8. You can change the speed of the animation using the Speed Dropdown for the animation.
9. You probably also want to change the Start option from On Click to With Previous. This will automatically run your animation when the slide displays. If you don't change this then you will have to click to display the animated chart.
