- Return the Application Form with your child’s most
recent report card and standardized testing results from his/her previous school (if
available).
- Please note that our cut-off date is August 31st.
For example, children must be 5 years old by August 31st to enter
Kindergarten, 6 years old by August 31st to enter 1st
Grade, etc.
- When the application has been reviewed, the Head of
Admissions will call you to set up a screening. The screening is to assess your
child’s preparedness to enter our program. It is not to ascertain his/her level of
intelligence; it is to determine how best we could meet his/her needs.
- Screenings for Middle School are normally held weekday
mornings.
- The cost of screenings is $50.00 and this must be paid at the time of the
screening.
- If scheduling permits, at the time of the screening the Head of
School will meet with you to discuss the school philosophy, program, and curriculum. She
will also discuss our enrichment program and after-school activities with you and answer
any questions you might have.
- At the end of the meeting your child will join you and the
Head of School. We enjoy meeting prospective students, learning about their interests and
advising them of opportunities at St. Martin’s that might be of interest to them.
- Open enrollment commences on March 1 and you will be advised
within one week after that date if your child has been accepted. If your child is screened
after March 1, you will be notified within one week of the screening if your child has been
accepted.
- If your child is accepted, you will have two weeks from the
date of the acceptance letter to return the enrollment form and registration/book fee. We
may not be able to guarantee a place for your child after that deadline.
