PFA

So, what exactly is the PFA and why should you be involved? The PFA is the Parent Faculty Association of St. Martin’s School. As a parent of a child attending St. Martins, you are already a member of the PFA. The PFA helps raise the funds for all the extras that just can’t be funded out of tuition.

Here are just some of the extras that the PFA may provide:

  • Field Trips
  • E-Newsletter
  • Welcome Picnic
  • End of the Year Picnic
  • Purchase a Yearbook for each student
  • Flowers, Cards & Gifts to Parents, Teachers & Children when appropriate (Births, Deaths, Illness, etc.)
  • Recognition of Teachers & Staff on Teacher Appreciation Week
  • Painting and Maintenance of Buildings and Classrooms
  • New Fixtures or Furniture
  • Donations and gifts to Hillsides Home For Abused Children

All of these rely on volunteer efforts from members of the PFA and participation in the Fund Raisers held throughout the year.

We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to act as chair persons for the PFA committees or to assist with any of the Fund Raising activities.   These committees include the Fall Fundraiser, Pizza Fridays, Book Fair, Santa’s Secret Shop, Restaurant Nights, Hospitality and so much more!  Please visit the volunteer portion of the website to sign up or feel free to email pfa@stmartinsschool.org.
