PFA
So, what exactly is the PFA and why should you be involved? The PFA is the Parent Faculty Association of St. Martin’s School As a parent of a child attending St. Martins, you are already a member of the PFA. The PFA helps raise the funds for all the extras that just can’t be funded out of tuition.
Here are just some of the extras that the PFA may provide:
- Field Trips
- After School Sports Program
- Backpack News
- Class Parties
- End of Year School Party
- Yearbook
- Flowers, Cards & Gifts to Parents, Teachers & Children when appropriate (Births, Deaths, Illness, etc.)
- Recognition of Teacher & Staff birthdays
- Painting and Maintenance of Buildings and Classrooms
- New Fixtures or Furniture
- Donations to Hillsides Home For Abused Children
All of these rely on volunteer efforts from members of the PFA and participation in the Fund Raisers held throughout the year.
We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to act as chair persons for the PFA committees or to assist with any of the Fund Raising activities. Please contact any PFA board member to volunteer as a Committee Chair or to work on any committee or to volunteer in any way.
