Computer Lab RulesNo food or drink in the lab. This includes gum and candy. Respect your teacher and fellow students. Politely take turns and share. Treat all equipment and software with respect: No hands on the monitor screen unless directed to do so; gentle use of the keyboard and mouse; hold CDs by the edges only. Do not start typing or using the mouse until you know what we are doing. Listen to the teacher and read on screen directions BEFORE you start. Never download anything unless told to do so. Do not alter the desktop or any other computer settings: No adding, removing, moving or renaming of icons; no changing of wallpaper or screensavers. Internet access is prohibited unless you are given permission by your teacher. Free time Internet access is limited to our list of approved sites or our what can I do when I'm done sites. Personal e-mailing and visits to social networking sites such as MySpace or Facebook are never allowed. Ask permission before you print anything. Leave your workspace as you found it. Remove CDs from drive and return to case, hang up headphones, push in chairs, etc. |
