Week of January 25th Events

Haiti

We ask that you keep the people of Haiti in your hearts and prayers. The Episcopal Church operates 250 schools, numerous clinics and hospitals and other ministries in Haiti. Everyone is working to recover from the disaster in Haiti and news and options for donations are available at www.ladiocese.org. Here at school, the children may participate in a fundraising effort this week. Monday through Thursday, students may donate $1 per day to wear free dress and an additional $1 per day to wear a hat. Regular free dress rules apply and only tennis shoes may be worn and no sharing of hats. Parents are welcome to bring in donations to the school office made out to Episcopal Relief and Development and we will forward them to the LA Diocese for you.

McDonald’s Fundraiser

Join us on Tuesday evening, January 26th, from 5-8 pm at McDonald’s (on Roscoe & Topanga) for a fundraiser for 5th Grade. Proceeds from the event will be used to help fund the 5th Grade trip to Riley’s Farm. Don’t forget to purchase your raffle tickets for a chance to win a bike, too!
